The 2009 Executive Secretary, PA And Office Manager Forum focuses on Excellence In Action and has been designed to help you develop cutting edge administrative skills which will support you as you play a major role in your organisation. The programme is designed to go beyond fundamental office admin skills and highlights advanced skills which will ensure you can provide top level support in challenging times.
Over six days you will look at important topics and share ideas with both the expert speaker faculty and the other Forum delegates.
The Forum starts with two one-day workshops. At Focus: Achieving Your Highest Priorities on 18 April 2009 you will discover the renowned FranklinCovey planning system and learn how to use it to effectively prioritise and manage your workload, ensuring that you focus on doing the important things first.
On 19 April 2009 you have a choice of two workshops. Master the practical skills required for business presentations – whether you are doing the presentation yourself or preparing it for your boss. Or you can explore how to maximise your efficiency using Microsoft Outlook.
From 20 – 21 April 2009 the Forum programme highlights a number of different Zones:
The Challenge Zone is designed to help you step up to have real impact in your role. You will explore how to prepare for managerial responsibility, how emotional intelligence can help you manage conflict, how to spot opportunities for growth in your role, and grab them with both hands.
The Office Zone focuses on the planning and organisational skills, and technology tools, that you need to be a top-flight PA.
During the Relationship Zone sessions you will discover invaluable tips for business networking and building and sustaining an effective, productive relationship with your boss (or bosses).
And then there’s the Wellness Zone where you will explore practical strategies for dealing with the stress and strain of your demanding role.
Finally on 22 – 23 April 2009, you will have the chance to join former homicide detective and hostage negotiator Richard Mullender. Richard was our most popular speaker last year and we have invited him back, expanding on his original workshop to provide lots more practice so that you will feel much more confident using your new, high level, communication skills.
