About the event

The role of the administrative professional (for example, executive secretaries, PAs, office managers) is rapidly changing. Here’s what industry experts are saying:

The administrative professional’s job today requires skills in management functions and technology, including: project management; integrated computer software applications; organisation and scheduling; Internet/Intranet communications and research; document preparation, storage, and retrieval, with emphasis on electronic recordkeeping; customer service and public relations
Projects of all kinds fall under the purview of the administrative professional. You schedule, track, budget, and coordinate teams next door or halfway around the world
Administrative professionals have redesigned the work to do it better, faster, and cheaper by moving from paper to electronic – for purchasing, scheduling, making travel arrangements, conducting meetings, collaborating on documents, and screening resumes for open positions

To be ready for these and other exciting changes taking place in the administrative profession, come to Dubai, from 21 – 26 June 2008 for 6 days of development designed especially for you, and get the skills you need to navigate in today’s chaotic and highly competitive workplace.

Meet with colleagues from around the region. Find out what is really going on when they say that all businesses are global today – no matter the size of the company
Exchange ideas with people in your industry – broaden your networks to solve similar problems without reinventing the wheel
Gain the new skills required for administrative professionals by learning how to think, act and respond like a manager
