Hans Buettner,
MRM, BTech (Eng & Mng), Dip Bus, CPRM, CIP, FRMIA, FANZIIF, FEOIEust

Hans was invited in 1991, to establish and manage a multimillion dollar funded risk management programme to advise and assist clients in managing their operation’s risk throughout Australia.

Hans’ team comprises of six professional and high calibre risk managers from varied backgrounds, who form an independent engineering and risk management department geared to provide advice and assistance on a variety of significant programmes and projects across a diverse group of clients.

After completing a Bachelor of Technology (Eng & Mng), Hans continued his studies with Monash University and graduated with a Masters in Risk Management.

Hans is a graduate of the inaugural Certified Practicing Risk Manager license facilitated by RMIA and Monash University in May 2002. Hans continues to support RMIA as the chair and fellow, of the CPRM assessor panel and is a member of the RMIA Professional Standards Committee.

As a fellow member of RMIA, ANZIIF and IEAust, Hans enjoys imparting his risk management knowledge by lecturing at Monash University to help undergraduates prepare for their
future in an exciting and rewarding profession.
