WHY THE OGWA FORUM?

Regional demand for petroleum products is increasing in all sectors. Demand from exports and domestic consumption will continue to increase requiring the region to ramp up its production capacity of oil & gas. Holding 40% of the world's oil and gas reserves, West Asia is an area of opportunity. Well placed to up its production and help bridge the supply- demand balances, but this journey is not without its challenges. Low domestic pricing and delicate geopolitics are a challenge for West Asia's sustainable energy production and transportation, technical and economical demands of non-conventional resources face the next generation of increasingly complex projects, political and energy security concerns confront regional logistics and pipelines, whilst talent potential, pressure for environmentally friendly products & energy efficiency, and downstream investment and diversification challenges add to the mix.

The OGWA forum will bring forth the regions critical challenges and opportunities. In a dialogue driven format the bright and best leading the industry discuss the full, integrated oil and gas chain.
