Reputation Management In A New Media World


Timings: Registration and coffee will be at 08.00. The workshop will commence at 08.30 and conclude at 14.30 with appropriate breaks for refreshments. Lunch will be served at 14.30 following close of day.

In this workshop, you will cover how to evaluate your online presence using search engines in order to understand your online image and plan for future campaigns. There will also be an overview of industry tools covering how they assist you in effectively implementing, adjusting, establishing and solidifying an online image and reputation. We will cover identity and brand management techniques useful in protecting your online reputation as well as how to control the opinions and conversations taking place online. Finally, the workshop will conclude by covering techniques that establish positive repetitive trends in reputation imagery and messages.

Evaluate Your Online Presence
In this portion of the workshop, we will cover how to evaluate search results for your company, brand, product or service and evaluate their context to help you effectively guide adjustment, planning, strategy and implementation of campaigns.

Reputation Establishment And Solidification
In this portion of the workshop, we will cover many common industry tools while showing how to use them effectively while adjusting, planning, establishing and solidifying an online image and reputation. We will also cover how to maintain, improve and troubleshoot your online reputation through usage and development of online reputation best practices within your organisation.

Everybody Has An Opinion
In this portion of the workshop, we will cover how to control your company identity, brand image and corporate reputation in a push and pull marketplace while inciting positive discussion on your current products and services.

Negative Reputations
In this portion of the workshop, we will cover how to rehabilitate and eliminate negative search results and rogue pundits. We will also cover techniques to silence or offset negative discussions or opinions while establishing credibility and reinforcing customer trust.

Repetition Is Truth
In this portion of the workshop, we will cover how to condition the marketplace to accept and proliferate your positive image while establishing trust and building your customer base. We will also explore an overview of repetitive imagery and positive message management using several direct and indirect techniques.

About David:
David C. Skul is an Internet Marketing Specialist and Technology Consultant with over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience in, new media marketing, web based technology, network systems technology and business technology development and solutions.

David successfully owns and operates Relativity, a marketing and business technology firm, located in Pueblo, Colorado.

David serves as a technology and marketing liaison for organisations such as PREP and Pueblo Community College. In addition, David assists several southern Colorado non-profit organisations in technology as an IT trainer, workshop facilitator, guest speaker, and board member. His most recent projects include the development of new media and print collateral pieces for PREP and the El Pueblo Adolescent Treatment Center.

Following instruction in Engineering from the University of New Mexico, David changed career paths and followed his passion and love of technology to Pueblo, Colorado. There, he attained multiple IT certifications and honors. Today David is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Marketing from Colorado State University.
