Middle East organisations utilise increasingly sophisticated financing structures and instruments. Contracts for corporate finance deals, prospectuses for capital raising, plus credit, trade and project finance documentation, and the negotiations that go with them, all pose a tough challenge for lawyers.

They have to deal with unfamiliar jargon, financial principles which are foreign to them and applications of complex and technical financial instruments and then give opinions, draft contracts and make judgements that have to stand up in practice.
