Judging Process

A comprehensive judging process has been put together to decide worthy winners of the International Sports Event Management Awards. At the core of this process, the judging panel which will evaluate entries based on the entry criteria and using a strict judging process. This ensures complete neutrality, transparency and professionalism in the judging process.
Entries are collated and placed into shortlists for each category. These shortlists are then distributed to the judges, all entries are then reviewed and evaluated and category winners are decided upon by a secret ballot and only the Awards organisers are privy to the winners. Judging will be based on the strength of the submissions and the judges will use the published criteria against which to evaluate the entry. The judges scores are collated – it is very important that even the judges do not know who has won
The judges are required to declare any conflict of interest in entries over which they deliberate and to stand aside from deliberations concerning those entries.
Nigel Rushman, the Chair of the judging panel reserves the right to cast any deciding vote, should the need arise. The judges’ decision is final and neither the organisers nor the judging panel will enter into any correspondence about the results.
Who can enter the Awards?
Any company, organisation, city, federation, organising committee, agency, supplier or individual that meets the criteria for entry and has contributed to a major sports event
There are 11 categories and there is no limit to the number of categories or submissions per organisation, city, federation or organising committee.
There is NO FEE to enter the Awards.
