The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management.  Representing more than 225,000 individual members, the Society’s mission is both to serve human resource management professionals and to advance the profession.   Founded in 1948, SHRM currently has more than 550 affiliated chapters and members in more than 120 countries.

Katharina joined Shell from AstraZeneca, where she was Head of Global Internal Communications. She joined AstraZeneca in May 2001 as Director of Communications, Global Support Functions, and was appointed to Head of Global IC in 2002.  She joined AstraZeneca from GE Capital European Equipment Finance, where she was Leader - Corporate Communications. Before joining GE Capital, she spent five years with Corange/Boehringer Mannheim in London and Amsterdam.

Vicky Wright is currently President of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She has worked in human resource management for over 30 years. During the first 15 years of her career Vicky worked in line personnel management and industrial relations, as well as undertaking research at Bristol Polytechnic and being an employee relations advisor for the Confederation of British Industry. Since 1986 Vicky has been a consultant. She was Managing Director of Hay Management Consultants Ltd and Worldwide Head of Reward Consulting before joining Ernst & Young LLP in 2001 to head their Performance and Reward Team. In 2005 she became an Associate of Watson Wyatt Limited focusing on human resources strategy;  performance measurement and management; and executive reward. She currently combines her consultancy with a number of other roles including membership of the Advisory Board of the University of Middlesex Business School and the Council of the RNLI. Her Presidency of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development will run from October 2006 to October 2010. Vicky has a BSc from the University of Durham and an MSc. (with Distinction) from London Business School. She is a Chartered Companion of the CIPD. She is a past President of the UK Management Consultants Association.

Ramin Mohajer, received his BSc. With Honours from Reading University (UK) in 1992 in Microbiology with Biochemistry and Physiology. A year later he received his MSc. From the same establishment in Food Science. During his university studies, Ramin worked for establishments such as Glaxo Group Research (Greenford – UK), Royal Berkshire Hospital (Reading-UK) and the Royal Hospital (Muscat Sultanate of Oman). In 1993 he joined the private sector in the Sultanate of Oman as deputy manager of a group of companies and this was followed by joining Muscat Municipality in 1996 as the Training Advisor. In1997 completed his PhD in Agro-Economics concentrating on the contribution of food production and agriculture to the Omani economy. Graham has been the regional head of distribution for Zurich International Life (Zurich) since 2006. The Merck and American Express initiatives garnered ASTD and SHRM annual Awards for Project Excellence and business impact.  He and his teams have also received Chairman’s Awards from the CEO’s of clients and from Forum.

Prior to Forum, Ron held a variety of general management positions at Chase Manhattan Bank including roles in retail banking, asset-based finance, commercial banking, global leadership development and service quality. He also was with United Airlines, where he managed and led development functions in sales, service and leadership. These corporate experiences in leadership, sales and customer initiatives spanned both US and international locations.

Ron is a retired Colonel in the United States Army with extensive leadership, logistical and operations expertise gained while on active duty and in the reserves.
Ron speaks frequently at conferences such as The Conference Board and the European Talent Management Conference and contributes insight in publications. He has contributed to: Harvard Business Review, Selling Power, Sales and Marketing Management, Strategic HR Review, Management Development: Theory and Practice, and Pharmaceutical Executive. Three recent articles are: HBR: Finding the Weak Links; The Pressure Paradox: How High Performing Sales Organizations Respond; Selling in Turbulent Times; and Implementing Global Leadership Development

Education:
He has academic training in psychology, marketing and organizational effectiveness with a BA degree from the University of Colorado; and an MBA from St. John’s University. He is also a graduate of the United States Army’s Command and General Staff College.
