Rationale
The face of the ultimate customer – the employee, their expectations, life style and health habits are
constantly changing. At the same time, employers are facing tightening budgets while healthcare costs
are escalating and premiums are rapidly rising. With these changing medical trends, insurance providers
are faced with the challenge of developing healthcare insurance packages that are attractive to the
insured and remain cost-effective for employers at competitive prices that are sustainable for growth.
This workshop will enable you to obtain a deeper understanding of the insured employee and its
implications to insurance providers. You will also be given an insight into different tools that can you can
adopt to enable you to develop more comprehensive and cost-effective healthcare insurance plans.
