The European Sponsorship Association (ESA) is the voice of the sponsorship industry across Europe. As a membership association, ESA focuses on promoting best practice and raising standards and professionalism within the industry. Its many activities, which include policy, governance and corporate responsibility, education and training, information, networking and the ESA European Sponsorship Awards, all have these goals as their core objectives. ESA’s reach encompasses all types of sponsorship activity from sport, media, entertainment, the arts and culture through to education, the environment and community. Its remit includes promoting and protecting the industry and this is seen through lobbying work with governments at national and European level. ESA also provides media comment on various issues relating to the industry thus raising its profile and emphasising its marketing impact. The Association represents an impressive list of members who operate at a global, pan-European and national level including sponsors, consultants, rights holders, suppliers and professional advisors. Sponsorship and Event Association is a nonprofit organization that was founded 16 January 2001. The Association aims to promote understanding of sponsorship and event as the subject.
We do this by organizing technical meetings, debates, seminars, study tours at home and abroad, sharing the prices of our Sponsor SPOT annual event. We put out completely fresh daily news and articles about sponsorship and event on our website.
Most of all, we have established an active forum and a valuable network that you can be part of! Here you will meet representatives from business, sports, culture, humanitarian organizations, agencies in the event and sponsorship.
The association currently consists of about 95 member companies and organizations - with 400 active people

Sporsora is headed by an Executive Board composed of 13 members. The association is chaired by Laurent Damiani.
It works through the contribution and commitment of its members through committees and transverse Trades Colleges.
Sporsora missions are to:
• Promote the interests and positions of actors in the economy of Sport in a complex political and social environment • To promote a responsible community by developing and implementing fair practices and ethical • Maximize efficiency and cost investments registered in Sport
- To develop and professionalize the sector, including promoting sports marketing as innovation drivers, management and communication.
Sporsora now includes nearly a hundred players in the eco system of Sport (advertisers, agencies, sports organizations, media, research institutes and training).
