IIR is again offering the highly popular FranklinCovey 7 Habits for Highly Effective Managers programme. This 5-day course includes The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People® signature programme, with a special focus on the application of these habits in the management arena. This is an interactive, discussion-based programme which will run from 26 – 30 October 2008 at the Kempinski Hotel, Mall of the Emirates, in Dubai.
Dr Stephen R Covey’s 7 Habits for Highly Effective People® are well known and there are millions of people around the world who have made changes to their lives after attending the course or reading the book. Just think of the impact that this course could have as part of your management development.
I don’t know anyone who has read The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People® who hasn’t been affected by the habits. Or anyone who has attended the FranklinCovey programmes that IIR has been offering who hasn’t thought about the way that they do things and made major improvements.
Just some of the management issues that will be addressed by this exciting and practical programme are:
• Seeing alternatives, not roadblocks (Habit 1)
• Focusing on the important, not just the urgent (Habit 3)
• Managing performance through a win-win process (Habit 4)
• Giving honest, accurate feedback (Habit 5)
You will have five days to learn how to use the habits in a practical, no-nonsense way, and to discover how the application of these habits can develop your skills so that you become a highly effective manager.
But hurry and register. The last time we offered this course it was fully subscribed three weeks before the start date!
This programme in October 2008 is your chance to rethink your approach to management development and an opportunity to set yourself on a path of discovery which will help you handle your workload and manage relationships effectively. Explore how the 7 Habits can be applied to management.
