The
2nd EHR Forum at Arab Health 2013 attracted more than 70 healthcare IT professionals and specialists in Dubai to discuss the challenges related to the implementation of EMR/EHR systems within facilities in the Middle East.
Topics such as physicians’ engagement, procurement, provider selection, coding, systems interoperability, personally controlled EHR and e-Health strategy were addressed by some of the best experts in the region and internationally, including renowned professionals from the US, Australia, Singapore and Pakistan.
Over two days of talk and networking and a dedicated workshop day aimed at deepening specific issues, the 2nd EHR Forum allowed participants to discover more on the current trends in healthcare IT and to measure what needs to be done to reach the objective of a paperless, interconnected and truly digital health record system.
