Course Timings
Registration will be at 07:30 on Day One of the course. Course sessions will start promptly at 08:00 and end at 16:00. There will be two short breaks for refreshments and lunch will be served at 14:30 on Days One to Four. The final examination will be on Day Five from 9:00 to 11:00.

• Identification of workplace population risks controls and safety
• Office and industrial ergonomics – Preventing MSDs (Part 1)
• Office and industrial ergonomics – Preventing MSDs (Part 2)
• Introduction to manual handling and risks

Module 4

Day Three – 24 January 2012

• Managing individual worker risk – After injury or illness
• Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)
• Ensuring readiness and successful return to work

Day Four – 25 January 2012

• Planning for tomorrow – Ensuring a healthy, productive workforce
• Determinants of a healthy workforce
• Managing fatigue in a 24-hour environment
• Course Review

Day Five – 26 January 2012

• Examination for Diploma in Practical Occupational And Environmental Health
