About This Event
This distance learning course will introduce you to the major Human Resources (HR) challenges facing organisations in the GCC region. Each module will focus on a different aspect of HR and cover the principal issues. The theoretical material will be supplemented by case studies illustrating the different aspects of HR, and practical checklists and tools that you will find useful in your day-to-day work in the HR department. There will also be occasional questionnaires to help you test your knowledge.

As you study each module you will develop a strong understanding of the role of the HR department in organisations and how to implement best practice in areas such as recruitment, HR policies and procedures, talent management, training and development, and Nationalisation.

You will be introduced to the most up-to-date concepts and be able to improve your performance at the same time as you develop the skills and knowledge you need to advise managers on HR operations.

The course will progress in steady steps and each week you will only need to spend between four and six hours to become familiar with the material. By successfully completing this course, you will be equipped to face the HR challenges in your organisation confidently and will understand the fundamental concepts of the HR function.
