Expert Trainers

Alan FellAlan Fell is a international trainer and consultant, specialising in Strategy Execution and the Balanced Scorecard (“BSC”). Although UK based, the majority of Alan’s work is centred on the GCC where he works exclusively in partnership with IIRME to deliver public training, in-house training and implementation consultancy – the latter often arising as a follow-on to training events.
He is widely recognised internationally as a leading authority on the pragmatic development and usage of the “BSC”, and has trained and consulted across Asia, Europe/UK and South Africa in addition to the Middle East.
Alan brings 18 years of hands-on practical experience in developing and using the Balanced Scorecard as the recognised # 1 strategic implementation tool. Additionally, Alan also provides training courses in a various aspects of financial management, most notably - cost management, budgeting, and activity based management, as well as business and scenario planning.

Prior to developing his career as a trainer / consultant, Alan was a senior executive at a major UK bank, his most recent role being Head of Planning & Finance for a major Division.


Alan Patching Alan Patching is one of Australia’s most sought after international business presenters. Best known for his former role as CEO and project director for the owning entity of the Sydney Olympic Stadium, he is internationally respected as an expert on leadership, motivation, and communication in the corporate context, and as one of the world’s most experienced presenters on project management.
He is Adjunct Professor in the Project Management Department of the School of Design and Building at the University of Technology Sydney. Alan holds multiple certifications in the study of human performance improvement and credits his impressive career achievements to his insatiable personal study of human behavior and psychology as it relates to management and leadership. He has ulitilised his finely developed emotional expertise in the negotiation of billions of dollars worth of deals in industries as wide ranging as property and construction, retail, hospitality and aviation.

Anne MacDougall Anne MacDougall is Director of Innovation through Training and Development (ITTD), an international consultancy based in London and servicing clients from the private and public sector worldwide. In the Middle East, Anne works with organizations in Kuwait, Oman, UAE and Qatar. Working at all levels of organizations, she is able to increase motivation and encourage creativity and co-operation amongst multicultural teams. Anne has lectured, consulted and researched in the field of management for the last 15 years and her training course material, which she writes, has been accredited by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Anne has a Masters Degree in Training and Development and she is also a professionally qualified voice and speech consultant. Her presentations have style and humour which involves and stimulate delegates throughout her workshops. Anne’s current areas of interest focus on improving the performance of managers through employee engagement.
Charles Wilson Charles Wilson is enjoying a successful international career in human resources management and development. He has extensive experience in the Gulf region gained over a period of some decades. Charles has watched the area develop and has played a leading role in National development schemes in Oman, the UAE and Kuwait. His major professional interests in the Gulf lie in the areas of development of Nationals, management education and cross-cultural management. His current research is centresed on international HRD, with an emphasis on leadership. Charles lives on the Isle of man in the British Isles from where he operates his company, The Consultancy. His work with IIR in the Gulf began over 10 years ago and he has led many courses, and presented and chaired conferences throughout the region.
Jacqueline Klauer Jacqueline Klauer is Managing Director of FUTURE LINK Consulting based in Canberra, Australia. She is management consultant speaker, trainer and author with extensive international experience as both a corporate executive and consultant across numerous business sectors. With a background in psychology and education, Jacqueline has held executive management roles with international organizations and her international consulting has given her a broad experience of working with many different nationalities. Jacqueline’s client base is diverse, and ranges from work with PricewaterhouseCoopers to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. An expert in strategic customer service, Jacqueline has enhanced the position of numerous organizations by collaborating in the development of internal customer service strategies and service level agreements. She also works with companies to improve the skills of middle and senior management, create better workplace practices, enhance teams and set strategies for expert performance management systems.
John Davis John Davis is a talented communicator with considerable international operational experience in the business strategy, brand development, product positioning, customer service, change and improvement projects. He has proven track record as a competent management, marketing and training consultant. John has completed a number of new programmes ineffective marketing, change management and leadership, customer relationship management and brand utilization. In addition to competitive marketing strategy, professional negation skills and customer service, he has prepared a number of unique programme for UNB, Etisalat, IBP, ADCB and Tanmia.
Phil Griffiths Phil Griffiths is founder and Managing Director of Business Risk Management Ltd. A Chartered Accountant, he has over 25 years’ experience in risk management, internal audit and fraud prevention as a practitioner, professional adviser, facilitator and trainer. He has held top management positions with a number of international groups, in roles embracing Finance, IT and General Management. His specialism includes assisting senior management to identify, manage and then exploit the risks within their business via facilitated business risk management programmes, helping internal audit functions to implement world class standards, developing fraud prevention, detection and investigation programmes tailored specifically to clients’ requirements, and training both private and public sector organizations in each of the above disciplines. Phil has worked extensively with all sectors in the Gulf during the past ten years to enable such organizations to exploit their potential by managing their strategic risks and / or enhancing the effectiveness of their internal audit services.
Warren Gillian Warren Gillian has been responsible for the development of new and existing businesses in over 20 countries throughout Asia, Middle East and North Africa. In all, over 250 companies within these regions have been assisted by Warren to achieve various degrees of business risk and environmental risk performance enhancement, utilizing his technology and information transfer skills, Warren has also project managed over AUD$20 Million in R&D projects in the areas of energy storage, industrial processing and environmental management (water and wastewater management). Currently his interests lie in the area of business continuity management, focusing on communication and reputation risk. Warren has been a Company Director for over 20 years and is well aware of the onerous position facing of Directors. He is also well versed in the current corporate governance issues, in which he lectures at post-graduate level to banking and finance students. He is currently Deputy Director of the Australasian Risk Management Unit.
Waseem Anwer Waseem Anwer is Managing Director of Chicago Capital Group, a New York based management consulting and corporate finance advisory firm. His focus is on shareholder value management, with a particular emphasis on the integration of value-based management with strategic implementation. He also advises privately owned business on reforming and enhancing their management capabilities to decentralize decision-making or seek capital market financing. In addition, he assists selected companies on business development in North America and the Middle East. Waseem has advised corporate clients on business valuation, performance measurement and scorecard, valuations, capital structure, business planning, financial management, organizational structure and executive compensation. He has worked with private and public companies with diverse business cultures in both developed and emerging economies in North America, South America and the Middle East.
