Dr. Ghaleb Y. Abbasi

Dr. Abbasi has about thirty years of multinational knowledge and experience with more than half a dozen countries around the world in project management, construction, real estate development, contract administration, management and academia. He has worked as an engineer, contractor, owner, consultant, trainer, facilitator, educator, author, and researcher at national and international levels. He has experience in engineering, managerial economics and feasibility studies.
He has been involved with several major projects with multimillion USD budgets both in Jordan and internationally with public and private organisations and has implemented several projects from initiation to completion, prepared plans, RFP, proposals, schedules, budgets, controlled expenditure, negotiated contracts, settled claims and disputes. Also, he has planned and implemented several real-estate development projects from the feasibility study stage to the final construction and sale.
Dr. Abbasi had conducted several consultations, presented over 500 lectures, seminars and in-house workshops in the area of management, project management, contract management, economy, and decision making for different public and private institutions both in the region and internationally.
He is the author of two books and the co-author of a third in project management. Also he has written numerous technical reports dealing with project management issues, published over thirty referred papers, and supervised over 60 report projects.
