Thank you for joining us at the Balanced Scorecard & Strategy Summit 2013!
This year’s new format Balanced Scorecard & Strategy Summit saw some 200 of the region’s senior executives and strategy and performance professionals – from a broad selection of companies and government entities – meet to explore the latest strategy, business excellence and Balanced Scorecard practices.
This year’s event saw the launch of the Strategy Summit. The event kicked off with a panel discussion between some of the region’s best known companies and leaders as they shared their key lessons for achieving sustainable business success in the Middle East. Featured speakers included Constantin Salameh, CEO, Al Ghurair Group, Khalid Abunayyan, President and CEO of Abunayyan Holding Company, Ahmed Al Arbeed, Former CEO of Dana Gas, Andrew Shaw, Managing Director, Ducab and Michel Ayat, CEO, AW Rostamani.
The Strategy Summit culminated in a Guru Afternoon with the hugely popular Jeroen de Flander, presenting brand new thinking from his upcoming new book Strategy Execution Shortcuts (Release date September 2013)!
The famous Kaplan Norton Masterclass then took delegates through their six stage strategy execution framework and shared new material and granular guidance to help organisations kick start their own breakthrough performance.
The remainder of the Forum featured best practice case studies from leading implementers of the Balanced Scorecard including du, New Zealand’s Kiwibank and ADWEA.
And the entire session was preceded and followed by a series of focused workshops and clinics on a range of topics including strategy formulation, KPIs and linking performance to reward.
