Timings: Registration and coffee will be at 08.00. The workshop will commence at 08.30 and conclude at 14.30 with appropriate breaks for refreshments. Lunch will be served at 14.30 following close of day.

All of us want to have the greatest and the best brand but we have to realise that this can happen only after we have developed a clear brand strategy that encompasses all major and important aspects of brand building.

Another thing you have to take into consideration is that in today’s changing economy a brand should not just “look good” but should also be sustainable and green.

This cutting edge workshop through case studies of major international and regional organisations will cover all important aspects of building a successful brand in the 21st Century when being green and sustainable is a must.

• Changing your brand imperatives
• Get a realistic picture of your brand
• Effective new techniques to help you build a strong brand
• New elements to introduce to your brand
• What should a 21st Century brand stand for?

Expert Facilitator

James Rothnie, Former Corporate Affairs Director, EasyJet, UK

About James
James Rothnie until recently was easyGroup’s Director of Corporate Affairs. James was responsible for media relations, brand awareness and corporate affairs within the easyGroup. James joined easyJet in 1997 and moved to the easyGroup in 2000. Prior to the easyGroup James worked within the large marketing department at Disneyland Paris, with specific responsibility for international publicity. It was his experience in pan-European public relations and marketing that lead to his creating an equivalent department for easyJet and then the easyGroup. A politics graduate, James Rothnie has spent most of his personal and professional life abroad but returned to the UK to join the easyGroup. The easyGroup is the private investment vehicle of Stelios the serial entrepreneur. The easyGroup is the owner of the easy brand and licences it to each of the easy branded businesses, including easyJet plc, the airline Stelios started in 1995 and in which he remains the largest single shareholder. The easyGroup profits by either selling shares in these businesses or by licensing or franchising the brand to reputable partners. The easy brand currently operates more than a dozen businesses mainly in travel, leisure, telecoms and personal finance.
