Rationale:
Co-ordinated efforts and planned strategies that are designed to fit the needs of a particular region facing a particular threat are of the highest importance as they serve as prevention, response and recovery tools all that the same time. Understanding the geographical and meteorological challenges is only the first step. Reaching a comprehensive map of motives and implications of various actions serves practical strategies more accurately when there is coherent and consistent data contributed to establishing the outcomes.

Security Company Regulatory Standards and Compliance
Rationale:
There is overwhelming supply of security companies to meet the needs of the Maritime Security industry globally. The number of quality providers that will provide support, protection, training, hard and software to the industry is hard to find in all the noise. Unfortunately, without regulatory standards or compliance conditions to meet, there are a significant amount of operators wha re under qualified, under resourced and unable to meet the high demands and protect the invaluable trade and assets of the Maritime industry. This session will discuss a number of key areas which need regulation and help you create a criteria to use, no matter the service or solution you require, to select the best company for the task at hand.
