What is sponsorship?
Sponsorship of an IIR event is a simple and extremely effective way for you to meet your target market in a focused environment, generate new business and brand yourselves as market leaders in your chosen sector.
The events themselves are strategic high level conferences in which industry leaders communicate new ideas and strategies to each other.
As a sponsor there are a number of ways you can promote yourself to these delegates. Here are a few examples:
- Deliver a presentation - position yourselves as knowledge leaders
- Meet our delegates on a one to one basis - through pre-arrange meetings at the event with senior decision makers
- Branding - position your brand throughout the event and our PR campaign as the firm of choice
- Product Demonstrations - we have dedicated product demonstration areas at our events where you can give practical examples of how your solution can help our delegates.
- Sponsor a networking activity - our conferences are all about networking and we have roundtables, lunches, breakfasts or evening receptions available that companies can sponsor.

How can sponsorship generate business for me?
Our delegates are senior-level decision makers. They are an extremely focused group of executives with a passion for their business.

What kind of PR activities can we be involved in as a sponsor?
IIR employs a dedicated PR Agency www.contentfactory.com to market our events. We also have very well established relationships with some of the biggest media houses in the region.
As a sponsor you can benefit from up to 8 months of pre-event PR activities using media channels such as TV, Radio, Online and Print (including trade magazines and National newspapers).

Can I speak at the event?
Most of our conferences have calls for paper publicized and only the best and most relevant are chosen for our audience. For you as a sponsor, this will depend on the conference and how your message fits in with the conference theme. Our packages can include speaking and chairing opportunities.

What kind of networking activities can I get involved in at the events?
Generating contacts with the right level people at the right companies is key to the success you have at events, so we have developed the following ideas that have proved successful for our previous sponsors:
One on One meetings
Sponsors will have access to the delegate list before the event, and be able to pre-arrange one on one meetings with key clients at the event, a proven way to be able to gain measurable return on investment at the event.
Roundtable Discussions
Sponsors will be given the opportunity to moderate a discussion on their chosen subject. The session is meant to be interactive and will give you a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with your clients. You will be positioned as a thought leader in your chosen field and can invite key clients from the delegate list to attend your discussion.
A series of questions will be posed to the audience, who will register their answers on electronic voting pads. After each question the panelists will be asked to comment on the audience responses and share their own views. As a sponsor you can nominate questions or the audience, finding out exactly what your buyers are looking for.
Email/Blackberry Questions
Delegates will be invited to email questions to the chairman/ moderator during specific panel discussions for these questions to be opened up to the panelists and allow for debate and discussions.
Meet the Speakers Meet the Speakers
From CEO's to large multinationals to MD's for local offices, our speakers are of a high caliber. As a sponsor you will have the opportunity to meet our speakers on a one to one basis. A great way to measure return on investment.
Speed Networking
IIR will arrange speed networking among the delegates on the first morning of the conference, to ensure that you have the chance to meet and identify the right people from the start of the event.
Lanyard Grouping
As a sponsor you will have the opportunity to select from the preregistered list a group of delegates who are your top clients and prospects that you would like to meet during the event. We will colour-code the lanyard ribbons of this group of delegates, so that you can clearly identify the people that you want to talk to and thus make introductions much simpler and time effective.

How will you market my company?
Your logo and company profile will be used wherever possible in our marketing campaign. We print brochures, use e-marketing and employ a skilled and dedicated telemarketing team to promote the event.
Your logo and company profile will be printed on all marketing material as well as our website. We also like to send out an e-shot to our database announcing your arrival.

Do you organize one to one meetings?
Prior to the event, you will be provided with a full list of attending delegates. Then you need to screen, identify and select 10 - 20 delegates that that makes your best potential clients, and you wish to meet with on one-to-one basis. The next step is to forward the list to your account manager at IIR, and at the event, your account manager along with IIR dedicated event management team will be organizing the meetings for you with the prospects.

Can I just book an exhibition space at the event?
Yes, based on your sponsorship package, you will have the option of having an exhibition space at the event, which could include a private meeting area to conduct your one-to-one meetings.

How many sponsors do you recruit for each event?
We tend to limit the amount of sponsors we allow on our conferences. This will vary from event to event. There are opportunities to become an exclusive sponsor of an event or exclusive to your 'category'.
